Kuhl vom Heuerhaus, or Sky as we call her, is a wonderfully talented all around complete hunting and family dog! Sky's mom, Fall vom Heuerhaus won the 2015 Armbruster. Sky has a laid back and welcoming personality and is a very talented hunting dog. Her very fine nose, extremely strong pointing instincts, high desire and a thorough search make her a fun and very productive dog to hunt behind. Her high desire to retrieve and strong water desire complete her thoroughness as a talented hunting dog! Sky is not a big Drahthaar but packs a big punch in both the field and water. Her coat is medium short, medium hard, flat laying, dense and very low maintenance. This will be Sky's second litter with her first litter, our L-litter testing in the 2026 season. We kept a male from the L-litter and are very happy with Legend's development, temperament and hunting ability at his young age.
Cain II vom Red-Rock goes back to some very talented mother-line dogs from my foundation females and early breeding's. v. Erthal, Wupperaue, Bockenhagen, Schinkelberg and more recently Bandorfer-Forst. These are all very important foundation lines in vom Heuerhaus, and I'm excited to be going back to them for our M-litter. Cain is a medium-small male and is the same size as my very first Drahthaar male from back in the late 90s. Cain can hunt all day, every day and is a hard hunting male with a calm, extremely friendly and happy personality. He has a very sound temperament which is very important. Cain is a strong pointing dog with a fine nose and an affinity for water. Getting an 11 in form and hair is not an easy thing to accomplish and Cain is a well put together male with a tough and low maintenance coat. He complements Sky's strengths very nicely. This M-litter will continue the tradition of hard hunting, highly talented natural ability Heuerhaus Drahthaars that have excellent temperaments, on/off switches and great personalities.
